A Strange Little Tower in the Lawn<\/h2>

You walk outside one morning and notice something you definitely didn\u2019t see the day before.<\/p>

Right in the middle of your lawn is a small tower made of mud.<\/p>

It\u2019s only a few inches high\u2014perhaps 4 inches\u2014but it has a surprisingly neat chimney-like shape. At the very top is a small hole leading straight down into the ground.<\/p>

At first glance, it might look like an unusual ant hill, a pile of dirt left behind by an animal, or even some kind of lawn problem.<\/p>
