Being able to do so is an amazing thing, and that is where Sydney and Logan Firkins find themselves today. When Cindy and Logan were high school students just a few short years ago, they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Today, they are married but they have a story from high school that they will never forget.<\/p><p>Being young teenagers in love, you would be looking forward to the prom and they were waiting for that day for quite some time. When Cindy was taking her Life Skills class at Princeton High School, Indiana, she was a peer facilitator. She had made a friend during visits with Noah.<\/p><p>Noah was a student with special needs and he had her attention from the beginning. He had a wonderful personality and was fun to be around, so they became close friends.<\/p><p>Sidney said: \u201cNoah is just so caring and fun-loving, he says hi to everybody in the hallway. He\u2019s just a burst of energy. He\u2019s like, my best friend. He\u2019s the best.\u201d She knew that he would have fun at the prom, and she also knew it was a unique opportunity. After discussing it with her boyfriend, they decided that she would take Noah with her and he would take another student in the Life Skills class, Harley. Noah was absolutely thrilled when she asked him to go to the prom with her. She did so by writing a message on the softball.<\/p><p>Logan decided to give a more romantic proposal to his friend, Harley. He brought pink roses, which was her favorite flower and had a message for her: \u201cI\u2019d be blooming happy if you said yes to prom.\u201d They had a wonderful night together after she said yes.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/article>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When we look back on our life, we hope that we are able to see things that we are proud of.
